Best Beauty Discoveries of 2014

I was inspired by Emily Fayes Little World to do a post about my favourite discoveries of 2014. I thought it was a brilliant idea, and a great way to look back on the beauty side of 2014.

One thing I have discovered is the Sleek Palettes. I am in love with them! I may only have 2 but I plan on collecting them all. They do such a good range of shades that they suit everyone. From the bright Acid shade palette to the neutral Au Naturel shade palette. Theres one for anyone, and the best thing yet is that they're only £7.99.

The next discovery is Benefit. This is more of a recent discovery, and I only have one product from them but I do love their products (from what I know). The packaging is fantastic, and although not to everyones taste, I feel like the packaging is really unique and adds a special style to the brand. I have the Hello Flawless foundation, and I don't think I have ever loved a product as much as this one. I will have a full review on it soon so don't you worry. Anyway, some my discovery, if I have a few extra pounds I will definitely go for a Benefit product. They may be a bit pricy and I realise that I am not the best person for this for the lack of knowledge I have for the brand, but I do love the brand.

The next thing is lipsticks. Before 2014 I hadn't gone for lipsticks as I thought they were too out of my comfort zone, and would of gone for tinted lip balms instead, but this year I purchased two. These two were the Kate Moss lipstick in 05/7 and the Bourjois Rouge Edition in 18 (which you would know I talk about an awful lot on here). Lipsticks are something I want to collect now, I want to have a few to choose from for every look.

The last thing is eyelash curlers. I hadn't ventured into the world of eyelash curling until 2014 as I have quite curly lashes anyway. Since getting one I don't know what I would do without it. It makes my eyelashes pop out much more, and stop the from camouflaging into my eyeliner.

I hope you enjoyed this little post. Remember to check out Emily Fayes Little World to see her discoveries, as she did a much better job than me.
