Back to School Q&A

I was inspired by http://www.prettyperfectxoxo.blogspot.co.uk/ to do a back to school Q&A and so I asked a few of my followers to ask me questions on Back to School :)

1. How do you style your hair on the first day back?

I go back to school tomorrow (*cries*) but I will probably put my hair up in a bun. This is really my go to style as my hair is quite long and a like to have it out of my face. Also buns are really easy and you can style them in a load of different ways.

2. How do you deal with a workload of school work?

From my past experiences, I have just left and tried to forget about it haha, but tis year I am going to do my work straight away. If you're talking about homework I would recommend you do it as soon as you come back from school because then you can do whatever you like for the rest of the day.

3. How do you concentrate in class?

Im not really sure how to answer this one, but personally I normally concentrate okay in class except for when Im really tired. I would recommend not looking at the time as that normally puts me off my work :)

4. How do you make friends?

I believe if you ask anyone "How do you make friends?" the answer will be "Just be yourself" which I totally agree with, and if these people dont like you being yourself, then they dont deserve to be friends with you :)

5. How can you adjust to a new school and teachers?

I have only moved school once, and that was from primary school to secondary but I think you should just concentrate on work and having fun because after all, school for isn't all of your life.

Top 3 Thurday - Lip Products

Inspired by Zoellas Top 5 Tuesday blogpost, I am going to be doing a Top 3 Thurday most Thurdays (hopefully - I will try my best). So today I am going to do Lip Products. 

  

1. The first of my favourite lip products is Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry Me. I am pretty sure I've mentioned this product very early on this year but I have just got back into this product and I really like it. I like how you can apply a little or a lot depending on how strong you want the colour, and it moisturises your lips really well.

2. My second of my favourite lip products is the Rimmel London Kate Lipstick in the shade 05. This is probably my favourite proper lipstick. Im not a huge lipstick girl but this one is quite good. Im not too keen on the smell of it (I really like clinique because its unscented) but the colour is really nice.

3. My third and final favourite liip product is not really a lip product, its a cream blush. This is the Collection Blush and Highlight Cream Duo. This is probably my favourite colour of the three lip products as it is a bit more pinky than the rest. As it is a cream blush, it does dry my lips out a little but I am a fan of this.

I hope you enjoyed this type of post. I will probably do an updated version of this as my lip product liking does vary quite a bit.

August Favourites

As it is nearing the end of August, I thought I would do my monthly favourites. So here you go- :)

My first favourite is this leaf necklace from Accessorize. I think this is my only long necklace I own and the gold colour of it goes with a lot of my outfits. I have been wearing this quite often, as it is an easy accessory to style. As I am not much of a accessory person, this month I have been trying to wear more accessories and I have found that I have really been loving this one.

My second favourite is the Maybelline Rocket Volume mascara. I have loved this mascara for ages, but recently I have been trying some different mascaras like the Clinique High Lengths mascara but I have just come back to this one because I love it so much.

One Netflix I have been loving Safe Haven. I'm not a person that watches films multiple times, but with this one I have had to as its just so brilliant. To give a short description of the film for those who haven't watched it, Safe Haven is about a woman who has run away from home, but there is a policeman after her. It has a loads of twists in it which I love.

My last favourite this month is the OPI nail varnish as seen in the picture. Im not sure what the name of the colour is as it didn't say, but I have really loved this colour. Its just the perfect summer colour.

Holiday Pictures

I recently went on holiday to the Isles of Scilly, and seeing as my "Photography" post was one of my most popular posts I thought I would post some of the pictures I took on holiday.
